Canada Research Chair (Tier I) in Philosophy of Science
We are currently accepting nominations and applications for a Canada Research Chair (Tier I) in Philosophy of Science. This position will build on Western’s record of research excellence in this field. We are seeking an innovative leader and exceptional scholar in any area of philosophy of science, broadly construed. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced individuals who are recognized internationally as leaders in their field and who are currently at the rank of Professor or Associate Professor (or equivalent).

Postdoctoral Fellowship in Foundations of Physics
We invite applications for a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Philosophy of Physics. The Fellowship will provide a new scholar in foundations of physics with a unique opportunity to pursue research in collaboration with physicists and philosophers. The Fellow will be supervised by theoretical physicist Markus Müller, working on a project funded by the Foundational Questions Institute (FQXi) in the “Physics of the Observer” program, titled “Emergent objective reality – from observers to physics via Solomonoff induction”.
