Fulfilling the vision & mission of the Institute and setting strategic priorities are managed together with the Institute Director, Western Research’s Governing Board, an Advisory Board, an Executive Committee, and a Research Advisory Committee.
Former Rotman trainees have secured placements at top universities on three continents and have won early career research awards such as the Marie Curie Fellowship. They’ve also successfully moved into the business, non-profit, and government sectors.
Five Rotman faculty members hold Canada Research Chairs (CRCs) within the natural sciences, health sciences, humanities and social sciences. Funding for our CRCs comes from SSHRC, NSERC, CIHR, and an endowment from the Rotman Family Foundation.
We are committed to equity, diversity, inclusion, and decolonization (EDID) in our membership, as an essential part of creating the intellectual environment needed to achieve our goals. An Institute wide statement of EDID principles is in development.
