James Caldwell is a master’s student in the Department of History at The University of Western Ontario. His supervisor is Dr. William J. Turkel. He previously received a BA in Psychology, also from The University of Western Ontario. James is primarily interested in developing and applying computational methodologies (e.g., text mining, scientometric analysis, machine learning, etc.) to social science and humanities research. He is currently writing a history of scientific investigations on pharmaceutically active compounds in surface water and groundwater.
